QUESTIONS

Tayto Tours are operated on a pre booking system via our website. If you arrive without having made a booking we cannot guarantee that it will be possible to visit our factory.

TOUR TIMES

The tour lasts for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Visitors should expect to be walking for approx. 1 hour.

No, to ensure the best experience for all visitors we only operate tours when the factory is in production.

We offer no parking on site, so we request that you park on the main street in Tandragee and enter via the gate behind the War Memorial at the top of the town.

Tayto Castle is a unique site which incorporates a fully operational factory. For safety reasons it may not be suitable for people with restricted mobility or the use of some medical devices. To discuss your visit please contact a member of our tours team at tours@tayto.com. 

We ask that visitors wear appropriate clothing to include full coverage of arms and legs, as well as suitable footwear (no high heals or open toes). In addition all visitors will be required to wear protective clothing.

You are welcome to take photos within the castle grounds, however the use of photography is prohibited on the factory floor. You will be asked to remove all items during your safety briefing.

You will have the opportunity to sample our famous crisps and snacks as you tour the factory. Please note, outside food/drink cannot be consumed on the factory floor.

Unfortunately we do not provide any catering provision or an allocated lunch space on site. Why not try some of the local café’s located on Tandragee Main Street?
Unfortunately no, as we are a fully operational factory children must be over 5 years of age on the date of the tour. Children aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult.
